Jennifer Sedia, President of Infinity Training & Wellness

"Jennifer Sedia has inspired, motivated and educated so many in the world of fitness. She has dedicated her life to help others achieve a healthy lifestyle and not just in nutrition but in every aspect of wellness, including mental awareness, , self-esteem and confidence. She is much more than a fitness guru. She is a life coach."
- Johanna Valencia, Assistant Director of Fitness and Wellness at Texas Tech University

Jennifer Sedia is a long way from her childhood home in the Bronx and her childhood hope of one day becoming a forensic pathologist, but she isn’t looking back. She is now the president of Infinity Training & Wellness here in Lubbock in addition to being a coach, life coach, personal trainer, business owner, and professional bodybuilder under the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB).

Jennifer completed her bachelor’s degree in biology and began competing in the National Physique Committee (NPC) in 2004. She began competing in the IFBB in 2008 and continued until 2014. In 2008, she placed 10th in the world competing for the Ms. Olympia title during the women’s bodybuilding portion of the IFBB’s Joe Weider’s Olympia Fitness & Performance weekend and placed 8th in the same competition in 2014.

When asked how she defines success for herself, Jennifer said, “Hard work and consistency in nutrition and discipline in my complete life.”

Her commitment to those success metrics is evident in everything she does — from running a successful fitness business to reaching her own fitness goals.

Why Jennifer Is a Lubbock Leader

Jennifer hopes that as she continues to push forward in her career, she can reach more people and make positive impacts on their lives while expanding her business. She hopes to see Lubbock continue to grow as well and to put a greater emphasis on health. Her commitment to being part of that health focus is what makes her such a valuable Lubbock Leader.

She said, “Any skills I can offer the city of Lubbock to help benefit the community to a better way of living and a healthier way of living, I am here.”

Why Infinity Training & Wellness

Jennifer’s decision to open Infinity Training & Wellness was the result of the natural progression of her life. She has decades of experience as a personal trainer with knowledge of everything from weight loss and toning to athletic enhancement. She has worked with people of all ages and backgrounds and creates customized programs to meet each client’s needs.

Why Lubbock

Jennifer’s love for Lubbock runs deep. The friendly atmosphere is what ultimately led to her decision to call our city home and inspires her to keep working hard to make this a better place to live every day.

“It’s a great town,” she said. “Very convenient and extremely friendly. This is my place where I feel comfortable. People are amazing.”

She went on to say that she loves Lubbock and wants to contribute to the community as much as possible, especially when it comes to raising awareness of healthier lifestyles, which everyone can benefit from. We are lucky to have such a (literally) strong example of health and hard work right here in the Hub City!
